Product information :
This unique cradle (or berceau) was fashioned after one found in St.Genevieve, Missouri, the first European pioneer settlement on the west bank of the Mississippi River. The cradle can be lifted from its sturdy stand for rocking on the floor or be left in place to swing from the beautifully turned posts. The spacing of the bow spindles meets federal safety requirements, so rest assured the project is a safe heirloom. The spindles are band sawn. Full-size blueprint style plan shows all joinery in actual size and curved workpieces in full size. You can measure and trace straight from the drawing if necessary. A list of materials doubles as an exact cutting list, there is a detailed exploded diagram, and all hardware requirements are provided.
